I am a husband and father of 2 great children and live in Thatcher, Arizona, a small town in Eastern Arizona.  I build the best homes in town with my Dad.  When we moved to Thatcher in 2005, we quickly started the process of trying to get plugged in to the community.  For us, that means getting our kids involved in activities and finding a church to be a part of.  Getting the kids involved was easy.  Finding a church was not.  Not because there aren’t any, there are too many here.  The churches here are little groups of people that are happy with who goes there and aren’t very welcoming to new people.  We can’t go to a church like that. 

 

So, this blog will be mostly about whatever I want to write about, because I’m not good enough of a writer to fake it.  A big part of this blog will be about us starting a group that may or may not eventually become a church.  I do not want to be a pastor.  I don’t believe I’m called to be one.  But this experience has been unique and I want to write it down.
